STO. NIÑO TENNIS CLUB
( CLASS B OPEN )
The Sto. Niño Tennis Club - Class B Open which was held last January 21 & 22, 2012 was participated by more than 7 towns in the nearby Municipalities, namely: Alicia, Pilar, Trinidad, Talibon, Getafe, Inabanga & Ubay. In the semi-final matches, the two teams from Ubay encountered - Jun Castro / Jun Del Valle vs. Ryan Boiser / Bembem Boca; whereas the other semi-final round with the Inabanga team - Mato / Toper vs. Pilar team - Roldan / Del Rosario.
In the Final Round of the Tournament the pair of Ryan Boiser / Bembem Boca from Ubay Team vs. Mato / Toper from Inabanga Team battled for the Championship. In the early set of the Championship game seems closer, however the unforced errors of Ubay team took the advantage from Inabanga team in which Ubay team unable to recover. Also, the veterans move and expertise prevail and the Inabanga team finally captured the Championship point with Set Score at 8-5.
The Sto. Niño Tennis Club would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the participating towns / players for their involvement and participation to the tournament. It truly add color to the festive mood considering that this event is one of the highlight of the fiesta celebration. Lastly, our sincere thanks to Cong. Erico B. Aumentado, Representative of the Second District of Bohol and Hon. Eutiquio M. Bernales, Sr. Municipal Mayor for their financial support.
